On Saturday I had the opportunity to be a second shooter for my best friend Megan. I really don't have any busy shooting weddings but I can handle being the secondary person. I was able to get a few good shots and also some shots of Meg (so she can see herself in action) Below are some of my pictures, and here is a link to see more of the wedding.
Now, on to the wedding. This is probably, by far, the neatest wedding I've attended, and I've attended many many weddings. I'm usually not a theme girl, but when it's done well, I'm in love. The overall theme to this wedding was Buttons, and Natasha rocked the buttons. She didn't use any flowers, only buttons. I will say, the couple themselves, are young and very non-traditional but their corky, silly personalities shined through in their wedding and it was done beautifully. Everything from the invitations, to the bouquets, the centerpieces, napkins, cake...it all had buttons. Even the flower girl threw buttons. It was a fun, lovely day and Natasha thoroughly impressed me with her wedding.
Best part: All the girls wore TOMS! And we all know how obsessed I am with TOMS!
