Party Party

It's getting to be that time again!  My sweet Zeda girl is having yet another birthday.  I can't believe my baby is turning two.  Her and I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday to pick up a few things for the party.  I've known what I'm doing for quite some time now so let the buying begin.  Jarrod said I have to tone it down MAJORLY from her 1st birthday party which I am.  However, it's still going to be exciting and fun. 

Today is the BIG DAY!

Here it is...Social Graces has offically started.  I'm super excited to start continue this fun project with my best friend, Megan.  Please help us out by telling your friends, following us on twitter and like us on facebook.

My Big Announcement!

I finally get to reveal the secret I talked about here. I am so excited and proud to say that Megan and I are introducing Social Graces to the the Springfield area on February 1st. Social Graces is our new event planning business that we have been working hard on over the past few months. We are in the final stages and felt it's time to announce it to the world! So be sure to check back on February 1st for the launch of our new Social Graces event planning website!

Cake Heaven

I ordered these cakes for our volunteer appreciation party from the famous Belinda Wingo...her cakes are just plain amazing. She did Zeda's 1st birthday cake. They not only taste excellent, they look beautiful as well. Aren't you jealous? Yeah, me too...the church folks DEVOURED them. :( I was really hoping to take some home and freeze it. I love me some frozen cake!

Today.

Today, I got home from black friday shopping with my mom and sis at 4am, went to bed and woke up at 10:30am. Jarrod took care of Zeda and is now, at 12:15, cooking me breakfast. Thanks babe. Today, is a good but busy day. I'm cooking, cleaning, decorating and organizing things for my big shower tomorrow night. Wish me luck! I'm really excited about it. Here's to a good day...it's a good start with my coffee in my new mug I got for my birthday from my good friend Bonnie. Isn't it great? Thanks Bon!

More planning...

I'm trying to find a dress for the shower I'm planning in November. I've been waiting to go to the new vintage shop in town called Red Velvet . Today, on her blog I saw this display...I can't wait to go. Maybe I can find both Jarrod and I's outfits for the shower. In this post, she says, "

The new shop has dress racks inspired by "Betty, Joan and Peggy" (of MadMen)." I'd like to find a "Joan" dress. She's the sassy redhead on the show.

Shower planning

I'm planning a shower for Josh and Melissa and I'm really into it. The theme is from the TV series Mad Men. Jarrod and I started watching it just so I can get ideas. I'm pretty pumped about the party. I promise to share pictures.

So this is LONG over due...Zeda's party! I've been planning this little thing for months and it has finally came and went. We had a blast! The day was full of excitement and fun. Z did so good with her presents and her cake. What a trooper. I was so happy to have our friends and family there and it all turned out to be what was in my head. Love it when that happens. Thank you for everyone who came and for those that couldn't...you missed out. Just kidding, we still love you.
