The last couple of day have been pure blissss! I absolutely love being in my house with my little family. Zeda keeps us entertained and when she's sleeping we're able to work on the house. I've cooked every meal, kept the house clean and we even had craft time.

However, it looks like happiness is coming to an end tomorrow. Reality hits hard when morning comes and it's time for both of us to go back to work. Hope everyone has enjoyed the break like the Murdaughs!

Rum Chata - It's a good thing

Remember my sourdough bread I made? Well, the recipe made two loaves so the other night for dinner we took the remaining loft and made french toast with it. After we made Z's toast, Jarrod and I put a little something special in ours. It's called Rum Chata and it's amazing! Seriously, the best drink ever!

Beachcomber

This was my favorite place we ate at in LA. It was in at Crystal Cove in Newport.

Jarrod had an omelette and I had eggs benedict. yummy.

It sat right on the beach and each seat had a blanket in case you got cold. So cute.

I wish I could get breakfast there everyday. :)

Best Birthday!

Yesterday was my 26th birthday. I can't believe I'm 26, I feel I should still be 16. I hung out with some of my high school friends the other night and it was so weird to think we are almost all married, I have a baby and there is another one on the way (Kendall and Todd). We still talk and hang out like we are 16 so whatever...we'll stay young forever :). Anyway, my birthday was great! Jarrod took me to my favorite place to eat for breakfast and then we walked downtown. Zeda was in a really good mood...she was laughing and playing with everything. I love that girl. She makes turning 26 even better. Here are a few pictures from breakfast.
